Panacea X‘s motto: Superior performance through Superior design. The Big Gig is no acceptation to our design motto. Other companies have designed and offered sheet metal cutout gigs, and I can tell by looking at them that they will not perform in the real world the way, the way Panacea X Gigs do. The tines need to be long enough to pierce all the way through the game in order to get a good purchase on it. The points of our gig have a shallow angle to help the gig penetrate the animal easily. The barbs are relatively large making it difficult for the game to escape the gig. It may make getting the game off the gig more difficult, but in a survival situation retaining your game once speared is paramount. Our tines taper out so that as to create a “spring like pressure” to help hold the animal in place. Four points make making a lethal strike more likely; reducing stress and suffering for the animal.
Panacea X’s Big Gig is designed to be light weight and compact; easy to have a few in your Go-bag, and then distribute to your tribe to collect food.

The Big Gig is made from cutlery grade AEB-L stainless steel. Only the tips of the Big Gig are heat-treated, (hardened), so that the tines can be bent into place and then flat again many times without fatiguing the metal. If the targeted game is missed and the gig slams into a rock, the tips will bend and not break off.

Uses:
The Big Gig can be used to take all kinds of animals in a survival situation: fish, crayfish, crab, snakes, lizards, and fish in a hole, gophers, rats and mice in a hole! By attaching a strong cord to the eyelet in the Big Gig, this gig can be used as a harpoon to take lager fish and even small gators.

Foxxx knives are designed to be an ultra-lite weight “back-up survival knife” or minimalist backpacking knife. A knife that can be put into your Emergency bag as a second knife in case your primary knife becomes lost or broken. With the Foxxx knife weighing-in as little as 1.6 oz. (45.5g) there is little weight penalty for that peace of mind.
Foxxx knives also make excellent minimalist backpacking knives; light weight, high true Scandi grind with a fine edge. This fine edge makes the knife excellent for food preparation, game processing and wood carving.
All Foxxx knives are capable of making fire with the integrated, spring loaded quick detach ferro rod in the handle. A Panacea X original innovation, (US Patent 10,442,094 B1). The spine of the blade is ground to “90 degree sharp” so it can be used as a ferro rod scraper, for making fire; and thus preserving the knifes primary edge for other cutting tasks.
The Foxxx and the Nitro Foxxx give the survivor more of an edge to survive by supplying almost 6 feet of micro cord wrapped onto the handle. This cord could be used for fishing, shelter making, traps, gear repair, etc.
Generous jimping around the handle of the knives help to give this minimalist handle ample grip in all hand positions.
Foxx knives are supplied with a Kydex sheath that can be used as a neck knife with supplied lanyard, or attached to your belt with clips, (not included).
